In this pack you will find worksheets for each of the objectives for Year 5/6 - Geometry—Position and Direction. There is a 5 page document for the pupils to be printed off and used during revision. This comprises: plotting points to make shapes and naming the shapes finding points on a map and naming parts of a journey translating shapes in four quadrants reflecting shapes in the x axis reflecting shapes in the y axis This is followed by a 5 page answer document for the teacher to support your teaching. I have made this to use in Booster sessions with my class, they then will keep this pack and any others that I make and will take them home over the Easter Holidays to revise from. In this pack you will find a worksheet for each objective for Year 5/6 - Geometry—Properties of shape. There is an 11 page document for the pupils to be printed off and used during revision. This is followed by an 11 page answer document for the teacher to support your teaching. Some of the drawing shapes questions will need to be checked by the teacher. The children will need extra squared paper for this. This pack will take at least 2 one hour revision sessions with modelling, working and discussing. My class have really enjoyed this. This document supports - Year 5 - WRM - Spring Block 2 - Weeks 4-9 - Reasoning and Problem Solving. Document comprises: - A set of instructions for the teacher or teaching assistant - 10 sets of cards - in groups of three - a bar model, an improper fraction and a mixed number for the pupils to sort and match up. You should cut out and if possible, laminate the cards so that they can be re-used.

This document has a set of 8 word problems ( with answers) which involve finding percentages of amounts. It supports Reasoning and Problem Solving for Year 6 - Spring Block 2 - week 3 and 4 - WRM. It has an Easter theme. I also have the same numbers used in a set of problems with a Spring theme for the children in your class who do not celebrate Easter, or if you come to this at a different time of the year. I use these two sets of problems in the same lesson. Document comprises: 8 word problem cards and a set of answers.
